Additional Comments

• Main Rotor Governor (mc-HELI-control) is useful not only
  for the stability of flight , but also for the power-saving
  of batteries. Indeed, governor cut the over-power and the
  high-level noise of the electric motor at the initial time.
• The stabilizer blades (27g for each piece, the german standard)
  are too light for me. I replaced them by Hirobo's (60g including
  a weight for each piece).
• I replaced the tail rotor blades by some hand-made longer
  ones with diameter 300mm. They are indispensable for avoiding
  the lack of the tail-rotor-power at the low-voltage time.
• The inside of Agusta fuselage is large enough to install
  two 7-cell +two 8-cell NiCd-batteries. One can exchange
  these batteries from the large side-windows.

Some Information about Expenses

I ordered VARIO's Silence and Graupner kits (also some small parts)
to some USA dealers. Hobby Club and Rave's R/C Designs, Inc.

My E-Agusta case:
Silence or SkyFOX mechanism of VARIO and VARIO's special side-
frames for scale models. These just fit to Graupner's Agusta
fuselage. (Graupner's original scale side frames are only for Gas-
engines, not available for E-motors).

However, as you can see in my home page, the present Silence kit
is a little different from old versions:
The stabiless head (according to Mr. Ulrich, bad!), the new motor
Ultra 2000-7H and the new motor mount. Apart from the new
head, Ultra 2000-7H and the new motor mount are not available
for VARIO's scale side-frames. Because, the cooling fan part of
Ultra 2000-7H disturbs installing of Ultra 2000-7H to the scale
side-frames. Though, you can buy the motor mount of old version
as parts.

So, I recommend: (Please buy VARIO's catalog first!) SkyFOX heli
mechanism, VARIO's scale side-frames, which probably fit to
Mikado LOGO mechanism, the motor-mount of old Silence version,
Ultra 2000-7(not H) or HP355/45/8 or Brushless motors, for
example, Aveox1817/3Y, or Kontronik Tango45/04 with Kontronik
3SLH25-14-32 controller, or Plettenberg HP300/30/A4. And a
suitable pinion gear (20~28 teeth: Gear ratio10:1 at 23 teeth).

In 1995, the prices: a Silence kit + a GRP main rotor+ HV355 =
about $1200 (Ask Hobby Club in Calif.Tel: (1)- 714-459-1750,

an Agusta fuselage kit + a retractable undercarriage
kit + a special decor = about $700 (Ask Rave's R/C Designs, Inc
